Gross! Even had a fly land in the drawn butter for the steamed clams. Also, this was the second time we ate there and the service sucks. I asked the waiter if they had steamed clams tonight and he said he would check. He came back a few minutes later and asked to take our order. I asked again about the clams... he said.."yeah that's what I went in the kitchen for".... DUH... Bad service. We are Miller Lite drinkers and they only had two cold Miller Lite beers in the bar. Had to order another flavor. WTH??? This place is lame and we will NOT be going back and NOT be recommending it to anyone! just ate there…. flies were EVERYWHERE! Gross! Summer Shack did not pay for the review. I asked Elizabeth to review it because it's near where I live and I enjoyed it the times I've been. They have been slow to serve on occasion and the last time I went, my wife's steamed shrimp were a bit overdone. But more often than not, the food has been excellent and you can't beat the price if you stick to the under $10 "I’m Kinda Hungry" baskets. I highly recommend the crab cakes (mostly crab meat) and the tuna tacos (much better blackened) and the hush puppies. I took Elizabeth to eat there and had the tuna tacos.
