Downtown Richmond At Night View
It was actually a heck of a lot colder than I thought it was when I decided to head up to Jefferson Park to take some photos of Downtown RIC. I shivered and bared it, though. I set my tripod up and started playing with the camera. I had no idea what I was doing, still. I played with the aperature and shutter speed and some other settings. I took lots of photos. This is one of the photos out of the set that I really like. Reminds me of how beautiful the city is at night.
Sometimes it’s still hard to believe that I live in the Richmond area. I remember going through Richmond as a child, returning from the the beach, and always being awed at how stunning the city was as you approached it from I-64 going east. Now, I live here and it still is strikingly beautiful. I’m partly ashamed that I haven’t explored more of the city, but I’m glad that I’ve seen enough of it to know that I could stay here for a while.
